Tucker Lane

For more than 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of telling stories. Through photography, videography, and event planning, I’ve spent my career creating beautiful moments for other people.

Then, at the end of 2025, something unexpected happened.

A simple Facebook post stopped me in my tracks. It was a little white farmhouse, built in 1940. I wasn’t looking for a home. I certainly wasn’t planning to buy one. And if I’m honest, I didn’t think I could afford it.

But something about it wouldn’t let me scroll past.

I called my friend, a Realtor, and asked if we could go see it. The moment I stepped onto the property, I knew. It felt less like walking into a house and more like coming home.

It was almost an exact replica of my grandparents’ farmhouse—the place where some of my sweetest childhood memories were made. Every room, every window, every inch of the property stirred something deep inside me. It felt as though this little farmhouse had been quietly waiting for me all along.

The journey to make it mine wasn’t easy. There were moments of uncertainty, setbacks, and plenty of reasons it shouldn’t have worked out. But through every twist and turn, I could see God’s hand guiding the way. Doors opened when they needed to. Things fell into place that I couldn’t have orchestrated on my own. I will forever be grateful for that gift.

Now this little farmhouse begins its next chapter.

This is where all the pieces of my heart come together.

It will become an outdoor canvas for my photography, where every season paints a different masterpiece. It will be home to overflowing flower gardens, vegetables fresh from the earth, and quiet mornings with coffee on the porch. It will be a place where exquisite events are thoughtfully curated, where families gather, where friends linger a little longer, where laughter fills the air, and where memories are made.

Most importantly, it will be restored with love and respect, preserving the character and integrity of the home that captured my heart from the very beginning.

This isn’t just a house.

It’s a dream I never knew I was allowed to dream.

It’s a reminder that sometimes the life meant for you finds you when you’re not even looking.

And after spending so many years creating beautiful moments for everyone else, it finally feels like I’ve found the place where I’ll create my own.
